If you’re on Cape Cod for Halloween and looking for activities that continue into early November, here are some exciting options that keep the spooky spirit alive a bit longer:

  • This unique pumpkin display at Kate Gould Park in Chatham runs daily through October 31, offering plenty of time to explore whimsical pumpkin "people" crafted by locals. A great family-friendly activity for all ages.

  • Provincetown celebrates Halloween with "Spooky Bear Weekend," an adult-focused, high-energy event from October 31 through November 3. The town comes alive with costume parties, a haunted house, drag shows, and festive gatherings across local bars and restaurants.

  • Throughout the month, Falmouth Main Street merchants display imaginative home-made scarecrows in front of the quaint downtown shops and eateries. Makes for a perfect autumn afternoon! On Saturday, October 28, costumed kids can trick or treat at participating Main Street merchants from 1 to 3 pm.

  • This lively event continues the Halloween festivities with a costume party at Provincetown’s Red Room on November 2. The event promises music, dancing, and Halloween revelry well into the night.

  • Celebrate a classic Halloween on October 31 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Yarmouth Port Common. Hosted by local historic venues, this free, family-friendly event includes treats and storytelling at Thacher Hall.

  • Main Street in Hyannis will be closed to traffic on October 31 from 4 to 6 p.m. for safe trick-or-treating, allowing kids to enjoy the festivities safely. This well-organized event provides a relaxed environment to explore Halloween treats.

  • Don your Halloween duds for a Halloween Celebration at Mashpee Commons on the green across from the Mashpee Public Library, and enjoy spooky tunes, refreshments and fun giveaways (11 am to 1 pm). At 1 pm, kids will parade through the Commons and  can trick or treat at participating eateries and shops. Costumed pets are always welcome to join!

  • For a casual and fun night out, visit Lanes Bowl & Bistro on October 31. This Halloween concert features the Midnight Society cover band, creating a lively Halloween night with music and themed drinks.
